Work covers OH&S Induction Training

This is a short work cover OH&S induction course for people who want to meet the general level of occupational health and safety induction training for the construction industry. As required by state legislation.

Any person who has to work in Construction industry must do the OH&S induction course.

This work cover accredited course will help you achieve grater awareness of working safely on construction sites and preventing workplace injury.
Applicable OHS legislative requirement.
Duty of care and its requirements are identified.
Own responsibility to comply with safe work practice.
Basic principle of risk assessment.
Safety sign and symbols are identified.
General procedure for responding to incidents and emergencies
Fire safety equipments.

This course is aimed at all new workers carrying out construction work:
Self-employed persons
Labourers
Apprentices
Trainees
Trades-persons
Supervisors and project managers

Duration of the course:

The course duration is about 6 to 7 hours, this would include study time, lectures, group discussions, videos and assessment.
